CARE Conflict Resolution & Relationship Restoration
Conflict in an early childhood setting doesn't just affect adults — it ripples into the emotional safety of every child in the center. As a certified Conflict Resolution and Mediation specialist, I bring a trauma-informed, relationship-centered approach to help directors and teams navigate tension.
CARE Conflict Resolution & Relationship Restoration helps early childhood leaders and teams move beyond conflict resolution to create lasting relational safety. Through a structured process of discovery, regulation, understanding, repair, and sustainability, CARE restores trust, strengthens communication, and protects the emotional climate children depend on every day.
Whether you're navigating parent conflict, staff conflict, director-teacher tension, or team communication breakdowns, mediation creates a structured, neutral space where all voices are heard, and sustainable solutions are built.
Because when the adults are regulated, the children are protected.
What is Mediation?
Mediation is an informal but professional, non-adversarial dispute process. Two parties in a situation are assisted by a neutral third party, known as a mediator, to resolve the issue(s). The Mediator is not acting on behalf of legal counsel or advocating for either party. It is not the mediator's job to give advice regarding the issue or situation.
My role as your mediator is to guide calm discussions and present the facts clearly so the two parties can find a middle ground. I provide the framework, the clients do the work. In some instances, I might guide participants to resources pertinent to the issue(s) or situation. You, the client, have full discretion to pursue knowledge and ask questions that move you toward clarity. You are in control of the outcome.
Once both parties have negotiated the terms and conditions, I will assist in forming a binding mutual agreement so that both parties can move forward. Solutions are agreed upon and enacted by each participant completing an MSA.
