• Connection is vital for development in young children.  Adults:  parents, family members, caregivers, and the community shape the learning journey.

• Acceptance is at the heart of development. Children need a sense of belonging for self-appreciation and to appreciate others.

• Resiliency is necessary for children to thrive. Children need a strong foundation of emotional and social skills to make choices, problem-solve, follow instructions, and be active in the learning process.

• Experiences are what children remember. Children need an opportunity to practice development in a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment to build confidence.
